I love psychology and am passionate about facilitating growth and development in others to help them learn and resolve difficulties that hinder happiness and effective living. The path to growth and healing is learning. Over the past 25 years, I have journeyed many miles with individuals suffering from emotional distress, providing treatment for depression and anxiety; abuse and trauma; behavioral adjustment problems; high conflict families/relationships; parenting consultation; debilitating mental illness. I am an ethnic minority mental health specialist and provide treatment and consultation requiring an understanding of cultural contexts in providing mental health treatment. I provide consultation regarding program development and evaluation as well as executive coaching and promoting personal growth and development. I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I am a licensed psychologist. I attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas where I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
